Make the most of your stay at the Frog Lake Backcountry Huts using porters! Carry in delicious, fresh food, beer, wine, meat, cheese, sleeping bags, Bluetooth speakers - you name it! We carry the load so you can take advantage of the full commercial kitchen, eat and drink in style and save your energy for the fun part! Porters are available for your independent trip or if you'd like to bring additional items into the huts on your Blackbird Mountain Guides Frog Lake Huts trip feel free! We're happy to haul in whatever supplies you need hauled.
Porters have the right to refuse any load or portion of the load if they do not feel that it is safe or are worried about potentially damaging the contents of your load.

Porters do not serve as guides. They will not accompany you into the Frog Lake Huts. They are paid to carry a porter load (45lbs) into the huts and they move at the pace that they feel is appropriate for them given the load. In many cases they will arrive before you do and will leave your items in the hut that you reserved or your designated space in the refrigerator.

- Group Atmosphere: Meet others with similar interests and make some new backcountry buddies!

The porter service blackbird offers means you can take full advantage of the awesome commercial kitchen at the frog lake huts to create a feast or two and you can do it without worrying about anything beyond how long it’ll take you to arrive with your daypack (and emergency overnight blanket - it is the backcountry). So worth it! The porters are young but reliable and fun to talk to . Ask them what they do for recreation!
