Icefall Lodge BC

Icefall Lodge was built as a skier’s dream. In 2005, the Icefall Lodge was created on 50,000 acres of spectacular terrain that incorporates the best features of classic ranges across the world from British Columbia, to the Alps, to the Himalaya.

According to Icefall's founder, Larry Dolecki, “We more or less just built a hut and worried about the business side afterward. We figured the worst case scenario was that we had a ski hut in a cool location even if it didn’t make money.”

It's a backcountry skier's dream and we want to share it with you!

EPIC hut trip to Icefall Lodge!

Blackbird organized an EPIC hut trip to IceFall Lodge in BC this past January. Expectations were high and they more than delivered. It turned out to be a bucket list experience. Blackbird's planning, coordination and organization were spot on. Our guides navigated challenging snow conditions, keeping us safe, but still enabling us to ski epic terrain in an amazing backcountry environment. I've used Blackbird in the past and will continue to use them for backcountry skiing experiences. The best in the business. Thanks Zeb!

    Talented, professional guides, incredible terrain!

Just finished up a backcountry tour to Icefall Lodge with Blackbird. We had an incredible time and really enjoyed touring with Zeb. He is a super talented and professional guide who managed the challenging snow conditions well allowing our group to safely access some incredible terrain in the Canadian Rockies.

    Highly contagious, constant good vibe!

Zeb is someone who obviously lives life to the fullest and you want to be around him due to his highly contagious constant good vibe! What a pleasure it was to spend time at Icefall, BC, Canada with him. He confidently guided us through challenging terrain previously unknown to him during a gnarly snowpack year.
