Community

We believe that the mountains are a place for positive growth and community.

Stewardship

Mountains change people's lives.

With a solid foundation of skills and opportunities for mentorship in wild mountain environments, we build a bond with the mountains and the people with whom we travel them.

Our goal at Blackbird Mountain Guides is to facilitate amazing experiences in the mountains and create stewards of these pristine places through life-changing courses and guided adventures.

BLACKBIRD BIPOC SCHOLARSHIPS

Blackbird’s BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) acknowledges the lack of representation in the ski and mountaineering industries and aims to help remove financial barriers to avalanche education, making backcountry skiing more accessible and inclusive.

BLACKBIRD WOMEN'S SCHOLARSHIPS

Blackbird's Women's Avalanche Course Scholarship acknowledges the lack of female representation in the ski industry and aims to make backcountry skiing more representative of our population as a whole.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The lands on which we operate all of our domestic programs are the ancestral lands of various Indigenous people. We recognize the people who inhabited and stewarded the land for thousands of years before European colonization.

Our Land Acknowledgement recognizes the traditional lands of the tribes in each area that we operate in.

We want to hear from you.

Have a suggestion or idea for how Blackbird Mountain Guides can positively impact the outdoor community and the lands we all love and want to protect? We’d love to hear from you.
