Where to park & where to meet your guide
Trailheads & Meeting Points
There are many different trailheads at Snoqualmie Pass, Mt Baker and the North Cascades that we use for Ski, Rock and Alpine Programs.
Your guide will specify where to meet. If unsure, always text or call your guide to confirm your meeting point. Please scroll below to see instructions for some of our most common meeting points and trailheads.

Parking Instructions:
- An Uphill Travel Pass is required to park in all Alpental Parking lots during the season. When you order an Uphill Travel Pass, you will receive a code to register your vehicle(s) for the winter season. You should register your vehicle(s) before your first visit of the season. The type of Uphill Travel Pass you need to get depends on whether you have a Summit at Snoqualmie Season Pass, an Ikon Pass, or neither.
Summit at Snoqualmie Season Passholders:
- Regardless of your season pass type (Alpental Plus, Alpental LTD, Summit, Twilight, Remedy, or Nordic season pass) parking is free in any lot, any day of the season for you. If you’re a season passholder, you should have received an email from Summit at Snoqualmie with a parking code to register your vehicle. Alternatively, you can obtain a free Season Passholder Uphill Travel Pass using this link. It is valid for the entire season.
Ikon Passholders or if you don’t have any season pass:
- You’ll need to purchase a regular Uphill Travel Pass using this link. It costs $45 but it’s valid all season so you can come back and use it again.
With the Uphill Travel Pass you can park any day in Lot A7 (where you’ll meet your guide), or in Lots A1-A6 during Non-Peak Days
During Peak Days, you can only park in Lot A7. Peak Days include:

Parking Instructions:

- You’ll need to purchase a regular Uphill Travel Pass using this link. It costs $45 but it’s valid all season so you can come back and use it again. With this regular Uphill Travel Pass you can park any day in Lot W3 (where you’ll meet your guide), or in Lots W1, W2, or W4 during Non-Peak Days
During Peak Days, you can only park in Lot W3. Peak Days include:
- December 26 - January 1
- Weekends From January 4 - March 2nd
- MLK Day (1/20/25)
Mt Baker - Bagley Lakes trailhead
Parking Instructions:
- Park on the West Side of the parking lot (or as suggested by snow removal crews from Mt. Baker Ski Area)
- Send a text message to your guide when you arrive.
- Meet your guide by the bathrooms to the side of the groomed Bagley Lakes trailhead access area. Please do not wait on the trailhead and block it as there are snowcats regularly driving in and out.
