The road to Bunny Flat is open, and climbing season is ON up on Mt. Shasta! Conditions are incredible right now for both backcountry skiing and alpine climbing, with a healthy snowpack (about 110-120% of seasonal average) on the volcano at the moment.

Our guides have been both skiing and climbing up on Mt. Shasta recently, and have enjoyed a wide range of surface conditions. Winter snow, spring corn snow, rime ice, and more have all been on the menu. Road access is open up to Bunny Flat (6900'), and you can currently ski from the trailhead (height of snow at TH is about 90" at the moment.
