The harvest is on down in the Eastern Sierra, and recent road openings have afforded access to some of the best terrain in the Range! Tioga Pass opened yesterday (Memorial Day), and our guides found phenomenal corn conditions on Mt Dana and in the Saddlebag Lake area. The new access afforded by the road opening is a gamechanger as we head into June!

The South Lake trailhead above Bishop Creek continues to provide incredible skiing, with both alpine bowls and steep couloirs on the menu. Coverage above 11,000 feet remains robust. A bit of walking the summer trail provides access to the snow line, and putting on tennis shoes at the beginning and end of tours is now mandatory in this area. That being said, the rewards of the walk are many!

Overnight trips can afford even greater access to the heart of the Range. We regularly take groups out into the Sierra for overnight trips - it's a great way to spend more time skiing and get into terrain that isn't easily accessible in a single day! You can learn all about our overnight programs here.
